	Wyatt Dale Eisenhauer gave his life in Said of Abdullah (Southern Baghdad), Iraq, in the service of his country on May 19, 2005, while serving with Headquarters and Headquarters Company 2nd Battalion, 70th Armor, 3rd Brigade Combat team, 1st Armored Division United States Army.
	Wyatt Dale Eisenhauer was born in Pinckneyville, Illinois, the county of Perry, on Flag Day, June 14, 1978, the son of Fred and Gay (Farthing) Eisenhauer.  He was welcomed home by his big sister, Rebecca.  Wyatt's family eventually grew and included two more sisters, Hannah and Leah.
	Wyatt went to kindergarten in Pinckneyville, attended Pinckneyville Grade School and graduated from Pinckneyville Community High School.  While in high school, Wyatt was a member of the Pinckneyville Panther's wrestling team, band, and V.I.C.A.  Wyatt was honored for distinguished achievement when placing first place in the State Diesel Equipment Technician Competition.  Wyatt loved music and played the trumpet, guitar, baritone, and piano.  Wyatt also set up sound systems and ran the sound boards for many bands.  After high school, Wyatt attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in the Automotive Mechanic Program.
	Wyatt Dale Eisenhauer loved the outdoors, rock climbing, and camping, he thoroughly enjoyed fishing as well as kayaking down Beaucoup Creek, and loved animals, especially his bird Jake.
	In 2004, Wyatt joined the United States Army, following in the footsteps of his father, Fred Eisenhauer, and Grandpa Fred 'Fritz' Eisenhauer.  Wyatt completed his basic training at Fort Knox, Ky., and was stationed at Fort Riley, Kan., when his unit deployed to Iraq.
	Wyatt Dale Eisenhauer is survived by: his parents, Fred and Gay Eisenhauer; sister, Rebecca Anderson, and her husband, Willie Anderson; nieces, Alexis and Caitlyn Anderson; nephew and namesake, Jacob William Dale Anderson; sisters, Hannah and Leah Eisenhauer; grandmother, Catherine Eisenhauer; great-grandmothers, Ruth Huffstutler and Mildred Farthing; aunts and uncles, Larry and Sherry Goldman, Todd and Susan Farthing, Tim and Carla Hankla, Darrell and Sharon Eisenhauer, Ross and Linda Eisenhauer, Bill and Mary Lou Ozborn; and a host of cousins and friends.
	Welcoming Wyatt Dale Eisenhauer in his eternal home are his grandparents, Dale and Joy Farthing and Fred 'Fritz' Eisenhauer.
	Funeral Services will be held in the outdoors that he loved at the home of Gay and Fred Eisenhauer, 4533 Red Fox Road, Pinckneyville, Ill., on Monday, May 30, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. with Brother William Huffhine officiating.  Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery, Tamaroa, Ill.
	Visitation will be in Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
	Memorials may be made to Wyatt Dale Eisenhauer Memorial Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home or Murphy-Wall State Bank.  This memorial fund is being established for future scholarships and educational development.
	We are extremely proud of Wyatt Dale Eisenhauer, who, in the words of his family was a 'very humble young man, a private person with wisdom beyond his years, who made his supreme sacrifice for our nation and family he loved.'
